BizzarScripts is a long time project I started many years ago. Early in my IT career, I had a need to know how to do some basic web page editting and scripting. I started with a copy of Frontpage (hated it), moved up to Dreamweaver (love it), and did most of my html design using Photoshop. I worked just in html and had a great time. As time progress though, I needed a method to add things like photo galleries, contact forms, and other features and functions that would have taken forever to do using just straight html. I heard php was easy to pick up so I started with that. Ever since, I’ve been scripting and working with php in all capacities of web pages and even some command-line, non-web forms of php.
My name is Brad Derstine and I’m a system administrator by day. But to keep myself busy when not at work, I do a bit of php coding and scripting as a hobby. Mostly just basic things I need to make my sites as useful as possible, but I’ve done some really awesome stuff just doing this part-time. I’ve used a lot of stuff from sourceforge and php.net, and want to share and encourage anyone interested in technology to find what they enjoy. I support all my scripts in the forum and you’ll find a lot of great posts that relate to both php and some basic system administration stuff that goes along with it.
